Recognition awards for Shropshire cleaning team
A team of local cleaning staff working at a Shropshire dairy are celebrating after gaining nationally recognised industry standard awards.

The operatives, who all work for leading commercial and industrial contract cleaning company Servicemaster, carry out cleaning duties at the Nom Dairy at Donnington in Telford and have each achieved Level 2 NVQ Awards.
Servicemaster managing director David Edwards said: “Nom Dairy are a leading international yoghurt manufacturer supplying a number of the UK’s major supermarket chains.
“They built their state-of-the-art facility in Donnington two years ago and in order to meet their customers’ stringent standards for quality and hygiene, they chose ServiceMaster to provide professional cleaning services seven days a week and 52 weeks of the year.
"Our on-site team headed by local woman Fern Shaw, from Trench, has delivered constantly high standards and we recognise NVQ training as a very important part of staff development, so we are justifiably very proud of Fern and her team."
Fern Shaw added: "Our closely knit team works in conjunction with all the staff at Nom Dairy to ensure that we meet their exceptionally high standards.
“I am sure that the training given while attaining these NVQ Awards has been a great help and has allowed my team to focus on their skills and techniques.
“They are all delighted with their awards and this recognition has given them a real boost in the workplace."
Servicemaster, based at Halesfield in Telford, provides contract cleaning for large and small companies across the region, including Severn Hospice, NFU and Shropshire Fire & Rescue, and can be contacted on 01952 586600.
