Five years on – service proves a winner

The last few years have been tough for many businesses and Andy Durkan is proud that the principles with which he and his wife Sam started Cleartone Communications have proved to be a solid foundation for success when others in the sector have failed.

Five years on – service proves a winner

Five years on and Cleartone has chalked up more than 200 business clients in the Shropshire area, supplying many times that number of handsets. It is refreshing in a sector that is more often typified by hard sell and bemusingly complex tariffs to find a business like Cleartone that has differentiated itself by providing exceptional personal service, putting the customers and their needs first.

Andy says “From my previous experience working for large mobile communications businesses I know how alienating it can be to try and get help and advice from a remote call centre, quite possibly on a different continent. Anyone who calls us gets straight through to Sam or I in Shrewsbury, we know all our customers and believe that solving their problems is our first priority”.

Andy and Sam have maintained their focus on Shropshire businesses and responding to their needs. They have forged a successful partnership with SASTAK, the leading Shropshire based agricultural co-operative, providing their staff and a growing number of members with handsets and network access. Cleartone has achieved a remarkable 90% + retention rate and many customers won in their first year in business are still with them now.

Andy is very clear about where their success lies and says, “We would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to all our loyal customers. We know that without them we would have no business!”.
