County businesses of all sectors are being encouraged to make the most of an exciting new partnership opportunity presented by the Hive Music and Media Centre in Shrewsbury. The regional youth arts charity has launched a new friendship scheme which guarantees to be of interest to local companies who are looking to boost trade!

The Hive urges business community to get friendly

Formerly Belmont Arts Centre, the Hive is based in Shrewsbury but delivers projects across Shropshire and the wider region, working with professional artists, aiming to provide opportunities for young people to have fun, develop new life skills and be creative.

The new Friends of the Hive initiative is aimed primarily at members of the public who wish to support the Hive’s work, whilst benefitting from a range of exclusive privileges. However, the charitable organisation is also looking to partner with local businesses, to enable Friends of the Hive to gain access to special offers and discounts at participating companies.

Habib Malik-Mansell, Marketing Assistant at the Hive said “Working in partnership with local traders, this particular element of the new initiative aims to attract people towards becoming a Friend of the Hive, whilst sending business in the direction of local companies at the same time – something which is highly important in the current financial climate. Partnering businesses could offer Friends of the Hive for example, a 5% discount off products or access to exclusive offers at select periods.”

Businesses who would like to find out more information and register interest in participating in the Friends of the Hive scheme, are encouraged to contact Habib Malik-Mansell at the Hive by calling 01743 234970 or emailing marketing@hiveonline.org.uk
