Caravan firm renews sponsorship of Shrewsbury Cricket Club
Shropshire-based caravan dealership Salop Leisure has renewed its sponsorship of Shrewsbury Cricket Club this season and praised the contribution it make to the sport in the county.

The club, winners of the Birmingham Premier League Premier Division last season, fields three adult teams and has an impressive junior section, which has won two national titles since 2000.
Five former junior members have gone on to play first class cricket in recent years.
Tony Bywater, Salop Leisure’s chairman, said the company was proud to be associated with neighbouring Shrewsbury Cricket Club.
“What the club achieved last season was absolutely spectacular and their success attracted tremendous publicity for Shrewsbury throughout the Midlands,” he added.
“We support the club not only due to the success of the first team but because of the sterling work that it does to promote cricket in the county and to involve young people through the junior section.”
Salop Leisure also sponsors the Knockout Twenty20 cricket tournament, which is hosted by Shrewsbury Cricket Club. This year’s tournament, which will involve the four top teams in the county, will be on August 14.
