New board appointment for Budgen Motors
Budgen Motors, one of the most successful family-run businesses in the region has announced a new board appointment as part of continual expansion plans.
Local man, David Hare has been appointed as group finance director for the company, which runs Peugeot, Alfa Romeo and Citroen dealerships, having branches in Shrewsbury and Telford.
Married with two daughters, Mr Hare has previously worked for Muller Dairy at Market Drayton, Grampian Country Food Group, Dairy Farmers of Britain and UNIQ.
Mr Hare said: “This is a very exciting prospect and my brief is to support the company’s ambitious growth programme over the coming years and ensure that a fully fit for function finance and administration process is in place to underpin such development.”
Group Managing Director Peter Watts added: “We are delighted to welcome David to Budgen Motors and look forward to him strengthening our team.
“His expertise will give us the support we need to continue our planned growth strategy and we are already developing some exciting projects for the short term, so David will be working closely with me and the team to ensure that we achieve them on time and to budget.”
