Shrewsbury shopping centres sponsor Shrewsbury Flower Show

For the third year running the Shrewsbury Shopping Centres has confirmed its support for the Flower Show. Held in the Quarry park on 12 th & 13 th August, this year’s event marks the 124 th anniversary of the Flower Show. Welcoming over 60,000 visitors to the Quarry, the Shrewsbury Flower Show and Shopping Centres work in harmony as the show generates significant footfall in the town.

Nicholas Pitt, manager of the Shrewsbury Shopping Centres said: “The Flower Show is a great part of Shrewsbury’s heritage and the event firmly puts the town on the map every summer, attracting people from all over the country. Shrewsbury Shopping Centres is delighted to be part of the tradition and welcome so many visitors.”

This year’s summer extravaganza will once again live up to its exceptional standard of hospitality and superior entertainment, with a multitude of horticultural and culinary treats on display and crowd-pleasing spectacles including daredevil stunts bythe Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team and live music from the Coldstream Guards.

Celebrity TV chef Gino D’Acampo and TV gardener Chris Beardshaw will share their expertise and crowds will enjoy the magnificent firework finale on each evening.
