A Shropshire business networking group which has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months has launched a brand new website for 2011.

Shropshire business networking group launches new website

Severn Business Network meets every Thursday at Shrewsbury Town Football Club's Greenhous Stadium on Oteley Road, Shrewsbury.

The group was set up in 2009 to bring together local businesses to ‘work together to help each other’ and has brought thousands of pounds worth of business to its members.

The new website is now online and contains information explaining the benefits of networking as well as featuring all members’ profiles and a sign-up page for businesses who would like to visit the group.

The group is self-governed by its members and run by a small committee. The group also donates money to charities in Shropshire on a regular basis.

Andy Lawrence, of Hometyre Mobile Services, is the committee member currently dealing with the website.

He said: "The group is growing and proving to be a valuable business tool for all of its members and we want other businesses in Shropshire to be able to benefit as well.

"The site gives businesses instant online access to the details of the group; they can have a look and see if their business category is represented or not and can even book in to pay a visit to one of our meetings."

Severn Business Network meets every Thursday morning at 6.45am and the meeting, including breakfast, is finished in time for everyone to get to work by 9am.

For more information visit www.severnbusinessnetwork.co.uk or give the network mobile a ring on 07790 388160.
