Telford IT company to host ‘Business Briefing’ event
A Telford IT company is to host a ‘Business Briefing’ event following the hugely successful launch of a series of teaching workshops.

Chris Pallett, the Shropshire chairman of the Chartered Institute of IT who runs Bespoke Computing in Telford, is working with the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce to provide a number of workshops for businesses.
They have been taking place throughout 2011 and the next session is on Technology Planning, which will be held on September 21, 2011, between 9am and 11am at the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce offices in Stafford Park, Telford.
The session will explain why businesses should be planning their IT spend, the impact and potential risks of not planning, and how to get better value for money.
Mr Pallett said: “The average small to mid-sized business will spend between two and eight per cent of their annual turnover on technology. Yet at a recent breakfast meeting where 80 per cent of the audience were business owners or decision makers, less than 10 per cent were proactively planning their IT spend.
“What if you could invest in the latest technology and not have to worry about the price tag it comes with? What if technology could make your business more efficient and increase its profitability? If you are the business owner, managing director or finance director of a business with five or more office staff then this event is for you.”
The price to attend the course is £15 plus VAT, and to book visit http://www.bespokecomputing.com/events
Shropshire Chamber members should book via the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce website at http://www.shropshire-chamber.co.uk/training/ for a reduced rate of just £10 plus VAT.
