Sainsbury’s supermarket colleague celebrates 30 years of service
A Telford woman is celebrating 30 years of service at one of Shropshire’s supermarkets.

On Wednesday 17th August 2011, Store Manager Ian Sutton was delighted to present Tracey Barker with a bottle of champagne to celebrate 30 years of service with Sainsbury’s Telford.
Tracey joined Sainsbury’s in the town centre when she was 17 years of age and had a full time position on the grocery department. Over the years Tracey has worked in all areas of the store including checkouts, health and beauty, clothing and currently works on the beers, wine and spirits department on a part time basis.
Tracey said “I have always thoroughly enjoyed working for Sainsbury’s and have seen many changes over the years. I was working at the town centre store when I was fortunate enough to see the Queen open the new shopping centre. I am looking forward to working at Sainsbury’s Telford for many years to come.”
