Shropshire nursery offers parents a helping hand

A Shropshire day care nursery has launched a brand new offer to help parents across the county combat the rising cost of childcare.

Shropshire nursery offers parents a helping hand

Kinton-based Little Pixies Nursery is offering parents the opportunity to benefit from half price fees for the first two months if they sign up before October 21st.

Sarah Felkin, Co-Founder of Little Pixies, explained: “With a recent study highlighting that parents in the UK spend a third of their incomes on childcare, more in fact than anywhere else in the world, cost really is an issue. However, placing your child in day care is also one of the most important decisions a parent will make, and one that parents just aren’t prepared to compromise on.

“We decided to introduce this special introductory offer to help ease the financial pressures on local parents, particularly in the current economic climate. All our fees are also fully inclusive of fresh food cooked on the premises, nappies, wipes and whole organic milk, which many parents are often required to pay extra for.

“We hope that having one cost covering everything will not only help parents budget, but will also help free up their very precious time, safe in the knowledge that we’ll take care of everything! We would welcome parents from across the local area to come along for an informal chat and find out just what we have to offer, and to reserve their half price places.”

Little Pixies Nursery opened its doors last month and has already welcomed a number of children to its rural setting just outside Nesscliffe. The ethos behind the nursery is the offer of quality day care within a nurturing environment that truly encourages children to explore new experiences and to develop as self-confident individuals.
