Dolls galore for Telford nursery
It’s simply DOLLorious for youngsters at a Telford nursery who have received 50 new dolls donated by a Telford events organiser.

Telford’s RMP Big Bounce, which puts on entertainment for large corporate events as well as individual birthday parties, delivered the toys after an appeal from Halesfield’s Club 0 to 5.
Company owner Trevor Bate, whose grandaughter attends the nursery, made the special delivery to give a helping hand as part of his company’s corporate social responsibility policy.
“When the dolls arrived both myself and the staff were astonished at the very kind donation. The children really enjoyed opening the dolls and have had hours of fun playing with them,” said Beckie Fisher, from the nursery.
“RMP have been very supportive and we cannot thank them enough for the donation that they have made.”
Phil Connaughton, who is the RMP Group’s charity organiser, said the nursery sent a letter to RMP asking for help to upgrade the toys.
“We were more than happy to help,” said Phil, who has also organised coach trips to the seaside for hundreds of pensioners this Summer and handed out 1,500 Easter eggs to care homes, a children’s ward, Scout troop and playgroups in Telford earlier this year.
They are now planning a Christmas party for Telford pensioners.
RMP Events stages top UK music festivals including providing security guards, marquees, fencing, portable toilets, and all other festival equipment. They are part of the RMP Group, based at Stafford Park, Telford, which also provides security, a locksmiths and car and household electrical repairs.
