Birthday celebration for Bannatyne’s Shrewsbury
Leading county health club Bannatyne’s Shrewsbury is marking its sixth anniversary with a week of charity fundraising events, beginning with a party for its members.

From the 25 November, the renowned health club and Shropshire Chamber member, based at Meole Brace Golf Club, will be hosting a number of themed exercise classes including Body Pump, Zumba and Mini Spinathon, with participants being invited to wear fancy dress, all to help raise money for local charities
Club fitness manager Paul Ward said: “It’s great to see that our members are always up for a bit of fun, a challenge, and to support local charities.
“Bannatyne’s is Shrewbury’s premier health club providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, while offering comprehensive and expert support for both new and experienced fitness enthusiasts.
“New members take part in a dedicated assessment and induction session with the club’s professional fitness team, to create a personalised exercise programme, based on their individual needs and capabilities.
“The club boasts high-tech facilities, featuring the latest in beginner-friendly cardiovascular, free-weights and resistance equipment.
Paul continued: “Our constant investment in state-of-the-art equipment means that we can continue to provide a top quality service to help members achieve their personal health and lifestyle goals.”
General manager Alvin Ward added: “The health club has grown from strength to strength in the last six years and what better way to celebrate than with exercise related charity events. We will be encouraging everyone to dress in style and raise lots of money for these worthy causes, while at the same time celebrating our continued success.”
