Shropshire company puts on the pink for charity

The team at Nock Deighton’s Bridgnorth office donned their most colourful outfits to take part in charity the Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink Day.

Dawn Clarke, Director and Head of Lettings and Property Management of Nock Deighton, commented: “Many of us here have personal experience of the devastating impact breast cancer can have on a friend or family’s life. The money we’ve raised – along with everyone else across the country who have taken part in this great event – will go towards funding ground-breaking research to improve diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure.

“Each of the team chipped in and wore some particularly eye-catching clothes, especially some of the men, who looked very fetching in their pink shirts and ties! We’d also like to offer our wholehearted thanks to our clients, and the wider local community, who have given so generously and helped us raise such a fantastic amount.”

Breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer in the UK, with nearly 48,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Almost one in nine women will be affected by the disease during their lifetime, and it accounts for nearly a third of all cancers in women.

Founded in 1831, Nock Deighton is one of the Midlands’ most well-established and respected firms of estate agents, lettings agents, chartered surveyors, block management agents, and auctioneers. The company stands at the forefront of the modern property sector by embracing up-to-the-minute technology and industry best practice, and has a firm focus on achieving the very best results through a full range of specialist property-related services and dedicated staff.
