Telford cleaning company Mrs Mopp celebrates third birthday
A Telford cleaning business, Mrs Mopp Cleaning Services, is celebrating its third year of business with the announcement that they are expanding into Shrewsbury in the New Year.
Mrs Mopp Cleaning Services started making Telford sparkle in 2008 when it was set up by Kelly Ward after a change in personal circumstances prompted her to start the business, which now serves over a 100 clients a month and employees 18 local people.
Kelly Said “My background was working for large corporates so I knew the struggle of trying to run a home, children and keep on top of the laundry pile which often meant giving up the weekend so I wanted to create an affordable service that fitted in with peoples busy lives and gave them back quality time with friends and family”.
As The Telford branch has continued to flourish, the busy cleaning business has started to take calls from further afield “We often receive calls from people all over Shropshire and sometimes further.” Said Kelly “but we have had to turn it down... for now at least. After much thought, and quote requests, we are pleased to announce will be opening our next branch in January in Shrewsbury which the whole team is very excited about”.
The team celebrated their birthday with cake, champagne and party hats, Kelly said “ I am so very proud of all of my Moppettes for all the hard work and commitment and look forward to working with them all for many more years”
