Severn Trent and Millets support The Hive
The Hive Music and Media Centre in Shrewsbury has recently benefitted from the support of two generous businesses.

Ten members of staff from Severn Trent Water have given two rooms at the centre a makeover, whilst Millets has donated surplus fixtures and fittings from the Shrewsbury store.
The Severn Trent team took a day out of the office to volunteer their time on Wednesday January 10, as part of Severn Trent’s commitment to helping local charities whilst providing positive team-building activities for their employees. The workers re-decorated the centre’s video studio and meeting room, transforming both spaces. A stunning piece of artwork now adorns one of the walls in the meeting room thanks to employee and artist Sally Faye Cotterill.
Millets in Shrewsbury built upon Severn Trent’s generosity, with the donation of a quantity of fixtures and fittings that were no longer required at the store. Some of the items will be utilised at the Hive and certain items will be sold to raise funds for the youth arts charity.
Habib Malik-Mansell, Marketing Assistant at the Hive said “The Hive is extremely grateful to both Severn Trent Water and the Shrewsbury branch of Millets for their recent support. There are many ways that businesses can assist our organisation, including the donation of services and goods, in return for promotion and recognition.”
