Shrewsbury based Cooper Green has been appointed as the sole selling agent on behalf of David Wilson Homes for its new Riverside Meadow development, situated on The Gay Meadow, the historic, former home of Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

Cooper Green sole agent for development at former Shrewsbury Town ground

Adjoining the River Severn, set in beautifully landscaped grounds and with fantastic views of the town centre, Riverside Meadow is a gated development comprising one and two bedroom apartments and penthouses, as well as a range of three and four bedroom town houses with private gardens, balconies, driveways and garages.

Daniel Millar, partner at Cooper Green, is a lifelong STFC fan. Commenting on the appointment, he said: “As a company we are really pleased to have been chosen to sell what will be a stunning and iconic riverside development within the town. From the age of six I spent many happy times at The Gay Meadow, so I feel very honoured. The ground was an important part of many people’s lives in Shrewsbury, so it’s good to finally see something positive happen to it.”

David Wilson Homes is renowned for its high standard of finish and attention to detail, while offering purchasers the opportunity to choose and create a style to suite their particular specification. A state-of-the-art sales centre will shortly be opening on site for prospective purchasers to view designs of the properties and Cooper Green is now taking reservations on the initial releases.
