The founder of Jungle HR, this inspiring company boss is Shropshire’s only ‘Female Entrepreneurship Ambassador’.

Shropshire businesswoman is one of a kind in the county

There are only 50 of these dynamic, enterprising women located in all parts of the UK from a total of 250 in the whole of Europe.

“Our role is to work alongside women and girls to encourage them to consider, start and grow businesses,” says Teresa, who is doing all she can to encourage others to follow in her footsteps.

“I travel throughout the county talking to schools and colleges, instilling the confidence and skills that students need to go out and become an entrepreneur.”

However, the route Teresa took to the top was not the easiest and not without some serious challenges, she became a mum at the age 17 and perhaps could have been forgiven for giving up any thoughts of a career at that young age.

But with steely determination to do something with her life and the help of a strong and supportive mother, Teresa, who lives at Kemberton, near Shifnal, went on to study business at college and then to get a university degree.

She now has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management and is a member of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Member of the CIPD.

Jungle HR has since grown into a well-respected firm that works with blue-chip companies and organisations such as Bristan, and Kenwood.

Jungle HR can be contacted at www.junglehr.com or email teresa@junglehr.com
