Recruitment firm first in Shropshire to offer new app to jobseekers

A local recruitment agency has launched the first mobile app of its kind in Shropshire that is set to revolutionise the way jobseekers search for vacancies.

Recruitment firm first in Shropshire to offer new app to jobseekers

Shrewsbury-based Red Recruitment officially unveiled its unique smartphone tool this week, which has already received rave reviews from both clients and candidates across the county.

The fully-branded app can be downloaded onto any smartphone or tablet for free, and provides those looking for employment the opportunity to receive up-to-the-minute information on potential roles as soon as they become available. In addition, the app also enables job hunters to access useful tips on CV writing and interview techniques, as well as latest news from the agency and wider industry.

Meg Jones, Director at Red Recruitment, said: “We are delighted to be launching our new app to job seekers across the region, and are absolutely thrilled with the feedback we’ve already received. We are always looking to enhance the service we offer to clients and with so many people in the county using smartphones on a daily, even hourly, basis, an app seemed the natural choice. We were put in touch with a Staffordshire-based software company called Appscape which was looking to develop a recruitment-specific app for a local agency, so it was great timing!

“The app is fantastic and it not only fully complements our corporate brand, but it’s also functional and really easy to use. The employment market is still fiercely competitive with some jobs receiving hundreds, sometimes thousands, of applications with many of these filled within a matter of hours. By being able to access vacancy details the instant they’re released by employers, jobseekers have the best possible chance of securing that dream job, and in turn employers are given a cost-effective and efficient way of finding their ideal candidate.

“We’d welcome anyone interested in finding out more about the app and how to download it for free to get in touch with a member of the Red Recruitment team on 01743 352222.”

To download the free app from an iPhone, jobseekers can visit www.redrecruitmentsolutions.co.uk, Android users should search for Red Recruitment in the Android market place, and Blackberry users can search for Red Recruitment in App World.
