A workshop designed to give team leaders in Shropshire help and support and develop their skills is to be held in the county next month.

Workshop to aid Team Leader and Line Manager Training and Improvement

The ‘Developing Yourself as a Team Leader’ workshop will be hosted by MacBrac Training and Development on April 17th at the e-Innovation Centre in Priorslee, Telford.

Sue Blower, of MacBrac Training and Development, said: “These workshops have been designed to give practising or aspiring team leaders and first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development and to help support the range of responsibilities they hold.

“The workshop will look at the role and function of a team leader and how to improve individual skills and performance in this role.

“We can provide a high level of flexibility to individuals and their employers to custom-build a qualification in bite-sized chunks, while focusing on the key areas that are most relevant to them.

“These workshops cover the mandatory and optional units which can ultimately lead to gaining unit accreditation or the full award qualification.”

The workshops cover effective personal development planning, applying solving problem techniques, understanding change management and achieving objectives through effective time management.

Assessment for the unit and award accreditation qualification outcomes will be a combination of written and oral presentation assignments, reflective reviews and work based reports.

The workshop is £75 per person and can be booked through the website at http://www.macbrac.com/training-development-qualifications/ilm-courses/management-workshops/ or by contacting Sue at sue@macbrac.com or on 0845 241 6047.
