A Shropshire firm is celebrating after reaching the finals of a prestigious professional awards scheme.

Shropshire accountants adding a splash to awards nomination

Chartered accountants Stanton Ralph & Co of Bridgnorth will be representing the county as the only firm from Shropshire to reach the finals of the 2012 West Midlands Chartered Accountants of the Year Awards.

The firm, based at The Old Police Station in Whitburn Street, was shortlisted following an anonymous nomination by one of its clients who quoted “I use Philip Wood, of Stanton Ralph & Co, for my personal accounts, as well as for my wife’s, and the service has proved excellent and very efficient.

“From the professional, personal and technical perspective, the client service has always been exceptional and they are a delight to work with.”

The awards are run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, with the finals to be held shortly in Birmingham, at the conclusion of voting by fellow professionals.

Partner in the firm Philip Wood added: “It is a great honour to be recognised by clients and fellow professionals alike, especially following the upheaval of recently moving to new premises.

“We are currently looking to expand the business and have new staff members joining the team shortly, which together with this nomination makes it a very exciting time for Stanton Ralph & Co.”
