An online accounting software package which aims to make life easier for businesses by transforming book-keeping and accounting methods is to be launched by new Shropshire business, ICANetwork.

New accounting system launched by ICANetwork

The ICANetwork system has been developed over the last three years by software specialist Mark Brawn in partnership with Shrewsbury chartered accountants Andrews Orme and Hinton.

Using the latest ‘cloud’ technology via secure online links, businesses, charities and other organisations and their professional advisers can access all their accounting records and reports from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Nigel Hinton of Andrews Orme and Hinton, based at Oxon Business Park, said: “Prices starting from £6 per month so we believe that ICAN will provide a value for money service to businesses who do not want to make a huge financial commitment to traditional accounting software.

“From the feedback we have had so far from Shropshire companies the system makes day to day record keeping simple and straight forward and if users need any help or support it is just a mouse click or phone call away.”

Nigel is the guest speaker at the Shrewsbury Business Chamber meeting at the Greenhous Meadow, starting at 6pm on April 19. He will talk about the new software and highlight some case studies.

ICAN provides an online bookkeeping package supporting PDF invoicing, day to day accounting, VAT reporting and management reports, together with income and expenditure and balance sheet reports.
