Shrewsbury MP opens Coverage Care Services new central office

When faced with the dilemma of looking for the additional office space that was needed to support the outstanding work done by its homes, Coverage Care found an original solution to the problem by taking part in an office swap with vehicle marketing company GRS who had been operating on two sites on Oxon Business Park.

Chief Executive David Coull Said: “The move to Allison House was driven by the need to provide extra support for those who deliver the services at the “sharp end” actually in the Homes, and It is nice to be able to share this day with so many colleagues who have contributed to the success of Coverage Care and help to forge its reputation for excellence, by caring for some of societies most vulnerable people. “

Daniel Kawczynski said: “I am very pleased to have been invited by Coverage Care to open Allison House and I look forward to being able to visit the Shrewsbury Homes in the future and meet the residents.”

David Coull Added “From the first office in Hook- a -gate through the period at Collina House and now here at Allison House, we have never lost sight of our Vision of making care a positive and rewarding choice.

It is worth remembering that even with our recent additions we still have a comparatively small central office team of 16 people comprising the operations team, finance, HR , marketing and the executive team to support almost 1,000 staff who are responsible for looking after some 1300 mainly older people through our 16 care centres”

Coverage Care operates on a Not for profit basis serves the people of Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin.
