Telford company completes IT project for Dogs Trust
A Telford company has recently completed a major IT project for the national charity Dogs Trust, including its impressive centre at Roden, near Telford.

Midland Computers of Halesfield has installed and provided support for ten networked sites across the country including head office in London, charity shops and Pets-at-Home stores, from Glasgow to West Sussex.
Louise Campbell, centre manager at Roden said: “We have nearly 150 dogs on site, all shapes, sizes and breeds and all looking for homes, so we need to have a clear and easily accessible record of the history and possible medical requirements of every one of them.
“The new computer system has a specially designed nationwide network which connects the electronic till and back office PC to a Broadband router, and also provides bar-coding for donated items to help us claim Gift Aid.”
Midland Computers sales manager Nick Dodd added: “The Dogs Trust shops and centres were located far and wide but we had two very experienced and highly trained engineers who managed to complete the task in just one week.
“They had very little information to work from and had to use their initiative as to what would be required for each site on arrival.”
