Jan has fuel to complete fifth London marathon
The new general manager of marketing and technology at Shrewsbury-based Morris Lubricants completed his fifth consecutive London Marathon on Sunday.

Jan Trocki, 49, ran the marathon in four hours 20 minutes, just three minutes outside his personal best, to raise £1,900 for The Outward Bound Trust. He has raised in excess of £7,000 for the trust by his marathon runs and is now considering tackling the Paris Marathon next year.
“The well known marathon quote ‘Anyone can run 20 miles - it’s the next 6 that count’ was quite true on Sunday, as the last six miles were full of demons that tempt you to stop,” said Jan.
“Miles 16 to 18 are always tough for me because that’s where I hit ‘the Wall’ and then miles 20 to the finish are indeed the biggest challenge in marathon lore.
“The support I have received for The Outward Bound Trust has been immense, achieving the target of providing new expedition tents that they will serve many groups of young people in their adventures.”
Mr Trocki has joined Morris Lubricants, Britain’s leading family-owned, independent oil blenders and marketers, having previously held senior managerial positions with BP, Castrol and SK Lubricants Europe BV, a subsidiary of Korea’s largest energy company.
