New voucher book launches in Telford to save cash for families
Three business people have launched a discount book to reach 25,000 readers in Telford in a bid to help families save hundreds of pounds.

Peter Robinson, 33, sales and marketing director of My Little Voucher Book Ltd teamed up with his long-time friend Robert McCreadie, 29, operations director, to launch the company along with Mr McCreadie's mum, Marie McCreadie, who is the financial director.
Mr Robinson, who has spent the last 14 years in the marketing and media industry, said the first edition of the Telford Voucher Book had already been delivered and early feedback had been so good they have already nearly completed the next edition.
He said: “Both Rob and I are family men and we realised that all families were trying to save money wherever possible.
“With my media and advertising experience and Rob's knowledge of running a successful local business in the area, we came up with a plan to help companies get their services and products into a voucher book.
“It provides families with great local savings and great advertising opportunities for businesses through the voucher redemption.
“It offers excellent discounts and reaches 25,000 readers across Telford, Shifnal and Newport.”
The company started trading at the beginning of February this year and is based at the Business Development Centre on Stafford Park.
As the voucher book develops the trio said they would need to take on more staff including sales representatives and designers.
Mrs McCreadie said: “I run a commercial cleaning business which I launched 15 years ago and now employ over 50 staff so I know how a business can develop and we are looking forward to the same success with the voucher books.
“We think it is important for people to be encouraged to use local companies so what better way than offering them a discount.”
Mr McCreadie added: “This book will certainly help people save cash but also boost businesses in Telford and during the present economic climate that can only be a good thing.”
