Shropshire business networking group gets ministerial approval

The Chair of Shropshire Business Partnership Nick Chavasse MBE said: “We expect 80 members and guests representing the professional and business services sector to attend the meeting and are delighted that Owen Paterson MP will join us, together with many business leaders to officially launch this new networking group.”

“It is only by working together to encourage economic growth and create new opportunities for employment that we can take advantage of the economic up-turn when it arrives” said Mr Chavasse.

Shropshire Business Partnership is an independent networking group, run by its members for its members. The Shropshire Business Partnership is free to join for eligible businesses and welcomes support from Shropshire Council.

Cllr Mike Owen, Cabinet Member for the Economy, said: “Shropshire Business Partnership is exactly the sort of private sector initiative we want to encourage to help support economic growth and to create new employment opportunities within the professional and business services sector. This is important for the continued economic success of Shropshire.”

Membership information and on-line booking for the breakfast meeting on 11 May is available at www.shropshirebusiness.org.
