Shropshire businesses selling two of the world’s leading brands are joining forces for an event in Shrewsbury this week.

Bang & Olufsen Brands join forces for Shrewsbury event

Audio visual store Bang & Olufsen, of Shrewsbury’s High Street, has linked up with the town’s Apple specialists AT Computers, based in the Darwin Centre.

The two businesses are holding a social evening on Thursday, May 17, at the Bang & Olufsen showroom from 5.30pm until 8pm, which will show people how the two ranges can work together.

“Many of our products are designed to complement each other and work together. For example, we have just launched a new television, the Beoplay V1, which is competitively priced and has some amazing features,” explained Tina Boyle of B&O.

“It enables viewers to play any music, films and photographs on it from their iPhone or iPad via a wireless link. We are also just launching a new speaker frame for an ipad which is very impressive.”

Kieran Prout of AT Computers said that there were many synergies between the two businesses.

“Both Apple and Bang & Olufsen produce the highest quality, innovative products for the personal entertainment and communication sectors and we are always delighted to join forces for events.

“We hope people will come along to meet us and chat about our complementary systems - we have some great audio visual treats in store!” he commented.
