Up, up and away for new Shropshire business
A new business launched by a Shropshire woman is flying high… Young mother, Emma Jones of Bicton, near Shrewsbury has set up a new company called Balloons by Emma, specialising in party themes and decorations and has been amazed at how it has taken off.
Emma said: “I am sure that the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee has helped, but we have been very busy since the word go and already have several events booked for the future.
“We recently supplied helium filled balloons, complete with weights, for the big street party held in The Quarry at Shrewsbury and have been asked to design and create balloon displays for children and adult parties, christenings, weddings and corporate events.
“The most unusual recent request was for an array of bio-degradable balloons, each with a personal message attached, to be released into the skies after a funeral.
“We have recognised a gap in the market to provide more creative designs for events, including large animals, huge archways, decorative towers and even ‘exploding’ balloons filled with confetti, so we are looking forward to a very successful future.”
