A Shropshire will writer has launched a search for new consultants across the UK in the latest expansion of his team.

Telford will writer expands with new consultants

Terry Le Long, who runs Telford-based NLS Shropshire Will and Trust Services, said he was being contacted by clients wanting wills and estate management services from across the UK every day.

But the regional chairman of the Society of Will Writers for Shropshire, Staffordshire and Mid Wales, said he could not physically travel to each client himself so following the latest boom in work had decided it was time to expand his team.

Mr Le Long, who is based at the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce office on Stafford Park said: “My current team of 5 consultants is already at capacity so now I need several new consultants who can take instructions from clients.

“It is an opportunity for people who want the flexibility to work hours that suit them. I would offer full-training and no will writing experience is necessary so it really could give somebody a great opportunity to create an income and work at times to suit their lifestyle.

“Will writing is obviously an extremely sensitive subject so the right candidates would have to be compassionate people with excellent communication skills.

“This may be an opportunity for someone to enhance the work they already do such as financial advisors, mortgage brokers, accountants or other professionals who come into contact with people who require will writing services as part of the work they are currently doing with their client.”

Mr Le Long urged people to ensure they used a professional will writer and not try and write the will themselves as it can leave their wishes unclear and cause difficulties for family members they leave behind at a very emotional time.

Mr Le Long writes wills for soldiers before they leave for a tour of duty and also specialises in wills for ex-patriots in Thailand and other countries.
