Benson Brothers, one of the country’s oldest building and contracting development companies, has announced that it will once again sponsor the 125th Shrewsbury Flower Show.

Bensons announce Shrewsbury Flower Show sponsorship

This will be the second consecutive year that Benson Brothers has supported the Show, showcasing the firm’s commitment to the region and to the event, which provides the company with considerable client entertainment and hospitality opportunities.

This year, the company will be sponsoring the main stage entertainment, primarily world famous electric folk group, Oysterband, who will be providing live performances on both evenings.

Shrewsbury resident and group managing director of Bensons, Rob Hancocks said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Shrewsbury Flower Show again this year. Involvement with the Show provides some superb client hospitality opportunities and our support of the main stage area should make it truly unique and memorable. It is a wonderful occasion with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”

The Shrewsbury Flower Show is a landmark date on the events calendar and, through their sponsorship, Benson Brothers assist in the promotion of both Shrewsbury and the Show to visitors from all over the country.

Brian Goodwin of Shrewsbury Flower Show commented: “It’s wonderful that Bensons are returning to us for a second year. Their sponsorship of the main stage event has enabled us to bring a headline group into the Show which I know will be appreciated by the many visitors.”
