The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce has launched a comprehensive language translation service for its Members in a bid to help them achieve greater export and international success.

The new Shropshire Chamber Language Services, the latest in a number of additional benefits the Chamber has introduced over recent months to enhance the value of Membership, offers discounted access to certified, high-quality translation, interpretation, and language training services, giving local businesses all the tools they need to tap into international markets.

Chris Jones, Communications and Relationships Manager at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “One of our key commitments this year is to build upon the already attractive range of benefits already available to Members. This new service really does provide an invaluable resource for Shropshire businesses looking to expand into international markets or increase exports.

“Whether it’s getting a technical brochure or document accurately translated into a different language, having an experienced interpreter on hand at business meetings or critical negotiations, or actually training members of staff to speak a foreign language, this package will ensure local companies don’t make costly mistakes when dealing with overseas clients or customers and that their core message isn’t ‘lost in translation’.

“The Shropshire Chamber Language Services is just the latest in a long line of additional benefits we have introduced for Members this year, such our Market Intelligence Service, which offers valuable access to company research, industry data and key contact details, our Chamber Telecom provision including three months’ free landline rental, and our Legal Expenses Insurance, which provides cover worth more than £67,000 and gives Members access to 24/7 legal advice.”
