Telford student joins Telford Business Partnership as apprentice
A Telford student who joined a local business organisation on a work placement has now joined the group as an apprentice.

Jessica Barnett began her placement at Telford Business Partnership to provide event support as part of her business administration course at Telford College of Arts and Technology.
She initially carried out pre-event administration duties and assisted with registration and hosting at business events.
In the third year of her course, Jessica took up the offer of a one day a week placement with the One Telford team who run the Telford Business Partnership.
And now, thanks to her dedication and commitment, One Telford have officially offered her an apprenticeship.
Business network co-ordinator, Jaclyn Kitson, said: “Jessica has been a very welcome addition to our team, and her enthusiasm for the role is excellent.
“Her duties include providing support at our business events, managing the registration process for our delegates and sharing her knowledge with other TCAT students.
“We would definitely recommend that local businesses should offer work placements and work experience for students – it’s been very rewarding and doesn’t take up as much time as you’d think.”
Telford Business Partnership is a growing network of business and professional service companies, promoting the diversity and quality of their services to local companies and those relocating in the area.
It promotes itself as “the voice of professional business services”, and encourages companies to buy local to ensure that wealth stays in the area.
