Bosses at a Telford company have been handed the keys of four new vehicles as part of a £30,000 contract with a lease hire firm.

Telford company handed keys to new fleet vehicles

Trevor Bate, director of RMP Events and RMP Automotive, teamed up Sharon Wyatt, owner of Athena Leasing Vehicles Ltd, to expand the fleet of vehicles.

The company has taken on four extra vehicles to their existing fleet of more than 20 as part of the contract worth more than £30,000 a year.

Mr Bate said they had worked with Athena for the last 12 years and had continued with the company following the death of its owner Peter Wyatt four years ago.

His wife, Sharon Wyatt, is now running the company with her team of staff.

Mr Bate said: “We believe in supporting other local businesses and Sharon, despite the sad death of her husband, has continued to provide an exceptional service.

“We have extended our fleet due to the demand of our services. RMP Events is the busiest it has ever been with more inflatables and marquees being delivered all over the country so therefore it is vital we have reliable vehicles.

“We have got more than 20 vehicles in our fleet at RMP now and I am pleased to have been handed the keys to the latest vehicles.”
Sharon Wyatt, director of the Donnington based lease hire company said the 12-year working relationship was down to the personal service and competitive prices she offered.

“I can provide any make or any model of car or commercial vehicle the customer wants or needs.

“People often misinterpret lease hire as only something a company with a fleet could use but I have a growing number of clients who are self-employed or simply want the vehicle for personal use and just need to lease one car.

“There are other clients who want to juts purchase a vehicle outright or feel they want to buy back the vehicle at the end of the lease – all of these options we can offer.

“I wish RMP every success with the expansion of their fleet,” Mrs Wyatt said.
