Shropshire Chamber of Commerce celebrates membership milestone
Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is celebrating recruiting nearly one hundred new Members this year from a broad range of businesses across the county.
The Chamber, which marks its fiftieth anniversary this year, accredits its successful recruitment of new Members with the regular networking events it holds, Member referrals, and the support it offers to the local business community including training, help and advice.
To further demonstrate its support and appreciation of its Members, Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is offering an exciting incentive to encourage current Members to ‘recommend a friend’ which gives them the chance to win a £1,000 holiday voucher to spend on a destination of their choice. The incentive, endorsed by Peaks Travel Elite, offers entry into a prize draw for every successful new Member referral and it will run until the beginning of December.
Richard Sheehan, Managing Director of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are very proud to have recruited so many new Members this year, especially whilst the business community experiences such a challenging economic climate, and we look forward to welcoming more new Members in the future.”
“Chamber Membership opens up access to many exciting events and training courses to help businesses thrive and prosper. A variety of events will be held this month alone, including the ever popular Shrewsbury, Telford and Oswestry breakfast networking clubs, as well as the annual Chamber golf event at Llanymynech Golf Club on 17th August. While some of the business training courses on offer include Speedwriting and an Introduction to Essential Marketing.”
