Nearly 50 local and national companies will be networking and displaying their services at a business road show being held in Shropshire next month.

Business Growth Show heads to Telford

The Business Growth Show is being staged at Telford International Centre on Tuesday 11th September and will give business people from across the region the opportunity to meet new and like-minded people representing businesses from throughout the UK, with an expected footfall of around 300 people.

The event is being organised by Stephanie White, who runs specialist vehicle leasing and garage maintenance company, Don’t Dream it Drive it! based at Atcham Business Park, near Shrewsbury. Stephanie said: “This is not just another trade show, it is more a fusion of networkers and exhibitors getting together to promote mutual business growth. Having been networking now for over 10 years we certainly wouldn’t be where we are today without good networking events in the business community”

“The Telford event is part of a national model, free to attend and lunch will be provided, so we welcome the whole business community to come along, listen to the impressive guest speakers and attend the various seminars and workshops. There will also be ‘speed networking’ sessions which are great fun and provide an ideal opportunity to meet many new people and be introduced to diverse businesses, all in a very efficient manner.”

Telford and Wrekin Council is supporting the show and enterprise support officer, Kim Hodgetts, commented: “This should be a very productive show and a great opportunity for us to showcase to the wider business community, just what a variety of quality products and services that businesses in Telford and Shropshire have to offer.”

Local exhibitor Kelly Avery, of NRG Direct Mail, in Shrewsbury, added: “I recently exhibited at another BGS in another part of the country and was amazed at the numbers and quality of businesses taking part. It had a really dynamic feel and buzz, which is great at such networking events. I met a lot of new people from different areas, which has led to increased business opportunities for our company.”

Other local companies exhibiting include Henshalls Insurance, Kyoti Graphics, 4Networking, Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, Lanyon Bowdler, Global Freight and Hatfields Jaguar.

Further details can be obtained from: www.thebusinessgrowthshow.co.uk or by calling Stephanie White on 01743 762070.
