A Shropshire-based video production company has teamed up with a leading local furniture store to create a number of videos providing virtual tours of its showrooms.

Virtual tour showcases Shropshire firm’s home comforts

7 Video has teamed up with Shropshire based furniture retail group Alan Ward to produce a series of short films to showcase the many different departments that can be found within their stores and the wide range of furnishings on offer. Much of the footage was filmed at its showroom at Ennerdale Road, in Harlescott, Shrewsbury as well as its Chester showroom. The company also has stores in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Winsford.

A total of 10 videos were produced by 7 Video for the firm’s website to demonstrate the wide variety of products on offer, such as indoor and outdoor furniture, flooring and carpet, as well as the personal shopping service available to customers. The videos are short virtual tours, enabling the customer to take a browse around the store, from the comfort of their computer screen or mobile phone.

Pete Sims, Director at 7 Video, said: “It was a fantastic project to work on, and allowed us a great deal of creative scope to showcase the products available. Alan Ward’s furniture range is renowned for its quality and style, attributes it was essential to capture through our videos.”

Kathy Lesser, Marketing Manager at Alan Ward, said: “The videos have already been viewed numerous times, and are also featured on Alan Ward’s YouTube channel. The end results have proved extremely popular with our customers, and it is a great way for them to peruse our stores without leaving the house.”
