SBP Business Breakfast Meeting to Focus on Finance, Funding and the Future
Business professionals are invited to network at the next Shropshire Business Partnership breakfast meeting on Friday 28th September at the Greenhous Meadow, Shrewsbury.

With the economy, banking and lending to SMEs and small owner-managed firms continuing to dominate the business agenda, the line up of speakers will be of special interest to Shropshire business professionals.
The new Secretary of State for the Environment, the RT Hon Owen Paterson MP for North Shropshire, returns after launching the SBP network In May. He will offer feedback from his recent much vaunted meeting with top Shropshire accountancy firms and subsequent Cabinet talks on issues surrounding bank lending for business.
With the focus firmly on finance, delegates will also have the chance to learn more about the Small Business Loan Fund. Supported by Shropshire Council In association with Impetus, a community development financial institution, the £2m fund is aimed at supporting local companies with growth ambitions that struggle to secure finance through their bank.
Looking to the future, Cllr Keith Barrow, Leader of Shropshire Council, will reveal for the first time exactly how Shropshire Council's new private company, the IP&E group, is set to transform the way Shropshire delivers services and how local companies can benefit as a result.
SBP Chairman, Nick Chavasse, said: "This will be another great opportunity to network with 80 energetic and inspired business professionals and hear first hand how central and local government are assisting business growth and development in Shropshire."
Registration and coffee takes place from 07:30, with full English breakfast served at 08:00. The meeting closes by 10:00.
