Technology company's national HQ opens at Battlefield

Steve Miller was joined by Gordon Campbell, Managing Director of Technology Supplies Ltd and Robin Morris of Morris Property, at the ceremony which was attended by over 25 company staff and guests.

Steve Miller commented: “Quality products ensure design and technology can flourish within the education system. I feel that being asked to open Technology Supplies new premise reinforces the fact that those who support design and technology must work together to inspire the future designers and architects of tomorrow.”

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is an education and heritage conservation charity, including the interactive design and technology centre ‘Enginuity’, which allows children to discover how design ideas are turned into real products and invent their own creations.

Gordon Campbell said: “It is the work of museums like Enginuity that encourage children to try out design and technology and be inspired by seeing what can be achieved with a little creativity and the chance to explore the field of design at a young age.

“We are honoured Steve has opened our bespoke new premises today. It seems a perfect relationship between ourselves as suppliers and Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust as educators, as we both play a leading role in supporting good design and technology.”

The planning and development of the two acre warehouse and office building involved over 100 people including Morris Property surveyors and construction managers, who worked closely with Technology Supplies Ltd and architects Building Design Practice to deliver the project in budget and on-time.

Robin Morris, Chairman of Morris Property, said: “The opening of these new premises signals the completion of what has been an inspiring build at Battlefield. Everyone involved in the project has ensured the finished result surpasses expectations and will provide Technology Supplies with a custom built home for its future growth and success.”
