Mountain leader launches Shropshire distribution business to keep fit
A mountain leader has left the highest peaks of the UK but will be keeping fit for next season by walking the pavements of Shropshire after launching a new leaflet distribution business.

Hamish Armytage has launched Drayton Works in his hometown of Market Drayton but will be offering distribution services across North Shropshire and surrounding areas.
Mr Armytage, 56, is a qualified mountain leader and runs his company Mountain Philosophy which sees him take hundreds of charity walkers up Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis during the outdoor season.
But with the walking season coming to an end, Mr Armytage said he thought the perfect training package was to deliver leaflets and marketing material.
He said it started with just one customer requesting his services and has snowballed into a busy venture within just a few months.
"I love the outdoors but am obviously not so busy now the season of charity events is over so what better way to continue enjoying the outdoors than walking here in Shropshire whilst delivering leaflets at the same time.
"I was offered the chance to deliver leaflets for a gym and now it is a very successful business.
"We organise the leaflet drops to make it the most cost effective for our clients so we deliver a number of non-competing leaflets at once" Mr Armytage said.
"The distribution is carried out by me and my son-in-law so I know it is reliable and will be of the highest standard.
"Local businesses have seen a real boost since we (have) started working with them which is great because they offer fantastic services and products but sometimes get overlooked because there is a big chain, or high profile company in one of the larger towns.
"We are also working with the newly revitalised weekly street market in Market Drayton, and we help to promote other local events."
He said organisers of the recent Rock and Bowl Festival had seen an increase in numbers following his leaflet distribution campaign in the surrounding areas.
Mr Armytage wanted to stress they do not deliver leaflets where a sign or sticker shows that unsolicited mail is not wanted.
