Office move sparks trip down memory lane for Linder Myers partner
Shropshire firm Linder Myers has warmly welcomed new colleagues following the merger earlier this year with Turnbull Garrard as they move into its Talbot House premises from The Crescent.

While packing for the move, former managing partner of Turnbull Garrard Anna James discovered her original job application and CV dating back to 1983 prompting a trip down memory lane ahead of the start of a new chapter.
Anna James, commercial and residential property partner at Linder Myers in Shropshire commented: “I joined what was then Garrard Mitchell as a one year qualified solicitor and have worked in the same building ever since. I moved into my current office at The Crescent in 1993 but it was only when I started clearing the desk drawers in readiness for our move that I came across my original application – 29 years later.
“The timing of the discovery was particularly pertinent as we embark on a new chapter with Linder Myers and we look forward to working in our new central location providing more convenient access to local clients.”
An additional 18 staff have moved from The Crescent to Linder Myers modern offices at Talbot House in Market Street as the firm continues its ambitious growth plans.
Richard Ashton, regional managing partner at Linder Myers in Shropshire said: “The expertise and excellent reputation of Turnbull Garrard compliments perfectly the wide range of services we already offer in Shropshire. At Linder Myers our aim is to give excellent service to our clients, who are our primary focus.
“What makes us different is that we offer the benefits of a friendly local approach with the ability to bring into the region specialist expertise from our national and international colleagues and we are very excited about the merger with Turnbull Garrard which was a significant move for the firm and we look forward to the benefits of working with our new colleagues from one location at Talbot House.”
