Shrewsbury security firm welcomes new apprentice
A local security provider is ensuring its future is in safe hands after welcoming the latest recruit to its team.

Shrewsbury-based Taybar Ltd has taken on 17-year old Chloe Humphreys as part of an apprenticeship scheme. Chloe, from Shawbury, Shrewsbury, and a former pupil at Thomas Adams School, has joined the team as Office Administrator with responsibility for tasks such as data inputting, invoicing, vehicle monitoring, and various other general office duties. If she successfully completes her 12-month apprenticeship, Chloe will receive an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration.
Steve Taylor, Managing Director of Taybar Ltd, explained: "Chloe has already become a huge asset to our team, taking on more and more responsibilities, and really thriving in her new role. She brings a youthful exuberance to the office, and her different ideas and perspective are not only a breath of fresh air, they are making a real impact on the business.
"We became involved with the apprenticeship scheme as we believe it is hugely important to give ambitious, enthusiastic young people such as Chloe an opportunity, especially at a time when the economic climate is so challenging and many young people are struggling to find jobs. The scheme allows Chloe to gain invaluable workplace experience at the same time as studying for a formal qualification. We look forward to helping her progress over the coming months, and are sure when her apprenticeship is complete, we’ll be looking at making her a fully-fledged member of the team."
Chloe Humphreys said: "I'm really enjoying the role so far, and the team have all been extremely welcoming. It is giving me the chance to learn more about business, as well as giving me the chance to study for an NVQ that will help in my career."
