XPO IT Services, one of the region’s leading computer recycling specialists, has gained an important industry accolade.

Third ISO Award for Telford IT recycling specialists

The Telford company has received the ISO 14001 certificate, which will enable it to expand and evolve its services.

The nationally recognised achievement ensures that systematic and process-driven efforts are being followed to reduce waste and to prove an overall environmental commitment.

Ross Talbot, business development executive at the Hortonwood firm, commented: “We’ are delighted to have gained our ISO 14001 registration as this builds on our existing ISO accreditations and clearly illustrates the importance we place in being environmentally responsible in our everyday business practices.”

XPO IT Services, which already holds ISO9001 and ISO 27001 awards, provides IT recycling and disposal, alongside secure destruction of hard drives and data, both on and off the premises.

Boasting a decade of experience in the sector, the company has invested heavily in its ‘state of the art’ recycling plant in Shropshire, which is able to shred whole sections of computer equipment.

The plant also features a hard-drive crushing unit which can be taken out on-site to securely destroy hard drives and other media, at any location.
