By watching what you eat, cutting back on the coffee and getting a full 40 winks, here are some top tips so you can try and enjoy a stress free work life.

Watch what You Eat.
By eating healthy foods you can increase your energy and feel good, drink plenty of water and avoid unhealthy snacks that will make you feel sluggish.

Cut down on the Caffeine
Too much coffee and Tea can increase your stress levels. If you can't cut out caffeine drink completely, try to alternate your caffeine intake with healthier drinks.

Get yourself Fit
Exercise is a great way to relieve stress and doesn't have to mean going to the gym, try taking a brisk short walk in the day, even if it means a walk around the office or building. Walking will help to get your blood moving and give you a mental break from your tasks.

Get out more
Get out of the workplace or the office during your lunch hour. Working through lunch can be counter productive. A break in the middle of the day away from work will really boost your brain and flood you with ideas - you should also encourage staff to take their lunch outside the office - watch as work performance improves in the afternoon.

Stretch!
Stretching helps to relieve stiff muscles, which can hold tension and make you feel more stressed. Do some small relaxing exercises or even treat everyone to a neck and shoulder massage at work by calling in a local therapist?

Get Organised
Getting up 15 minutes earlier, and packing lunches or laying out clothes the night before, can help create a routine and get you organised for the day. The stress caused by running around trying to get to work on time can really put the pressure on you.

Deep Breaths
When we are stressed, we have a tendency to take shallow breaths, which can result in feeling more tension. Relax and start by inhaling deeply through the nose for a count of 4, and then exhaling slowly for a count of 8. This helps to release toxins through your breath. Concentrate on your counting and breath.

Get your 40 winks in
Are you are getting enough sleep at night. Not getting enough rest can add to your stress level and make you feel more overwhelmed. If you have been experiencing recurring sleepless nights, consult your physician for guidance.

Enjoy yourself.
You should try to do something you love every day to give yourself something to look forward to. Life shouldn't be just about work! Most stress arises due to feelings of life being out of control. By taking time to get yourself organised, and taking care of yourself, you can begin to gain control and ensure that your workday is as relaxed as possible.

Ditch the Time-Wasters.
Make a list of all the things that currently waste your time and reduce your productivity. These can include things like checking your emails, interruptions at your desk, talking too long on the phone, attending meetings, or on a personal level watching TV, getting up late and not prioritising your day.

Then next to each time-waster write down what you can do to change that. Then put your plan into action today!

The bottom line in getting rid of work stress is to do work you love. Don't be somebody stuck in work they hate it is the worst thing you could do. Find out what you're passionate about and then go for it. Studying new skills, find out more information about your chosen field and start looking forward

You only get one chance at life - make sure you give it your best shot!
