New business manager at Telford fire and safety company
A new business development manager has been appointed at a Telford fire and safety company.

Sarah Knowles has joined the team at Shires Fire and Safety on Stafford Park and is looking forward to driving the company forward.
Mrs Knowles, 34, has extensive experience in sales and is looking forward to boosting contracts in Shropshire and across the UK.
Mrs Knowles said: “I am extremely pleased to be joining Barry and his fantastic team at Shires Fire and Safety.
“I have worked in sales for 18 years and am looking forward to meeting present clients of Shires and also making many new ones.
“Fire safety is a legal requirement within any business which should not be ignored and must be at the top of anyone’s list however long.
“My experience in commercial and industrial classes of trade has proven the risk assessment is fundamental business sense and fire safety is a fundamental part of that.
“I am proud to have been appointed the new business development manager and look forward to working with the Shires team.”
Barry Mould, company director who launched the company in 1990, said Sarah would be leading his sales team.
“Sarah is experienced in consultative selling which means she is great at working in partnership with businesses to find a ‘best fit’ for their business needs which in our case is to meet fire regulations and in turn save lives.
“As soon as I met Sarah I knew she was right for my company due to her enthusiasm and personable approach.
“I am sure she will be a great success here at Shires and will become a regular face on the networking scene in Shropshire so she can meet people face to face.”
Mr Mould has been elected onto the committee of the industry governing body Independent Fire Engineering and Distributors Association and all of his engineers are BAFE approved.
Mr Mould’s company was based at the Business Development Centre on Stafford Park for 17 years before moving to their current depot at Queensway Link Industrial Park on Stafford Park 17.
