Shropshire business marks six years with special gift
A loyal client at a Shropshire aromatherapy practice was all smiles after scooping a special prize to mark the practice’s sixth year in business.

Revive Aromatherapy, based in the Parade Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury, launched in 2006 after Jen Hawkins decided to give up her role as head of English in a secondary school and follow her dream.
And to mark six years of successful trading Jen teamed up with Nigel and Sharon Huxley at Draper’s Hall in Shrewsbury to offer one client a special gift.
Jen said: “I wanted to say thank you to everyone for still coming as without them there wouldn't be a business.
“The core of my ethos is caring about the people that come to me so I thought rewarding one of them would be a great way to mark the occasion.
“Draper’s Hall is just minutes from me and they have great standards and great food and service. I wanted it to be something really special so that the client chosen was really rewarded so I was delighted that they were happy to provide a voucher for £125. I also reciprocated the voucher for Nigel and Sharon to use as they wish as I think it is important that we work together. "
The chosen client was Julie Kavanagh, of Leaton Knolls, nr Shrewsbury, who has been receiving treatment at Revive for two years.
She said: "I am the envy of all my colleagues at work and I am very excited because I have been to Draper’s Hall before and was itching to come back again because it was really lovely.
“When I go to Jen I feel that I am really nurtured when I have a treatment, I feel pampered and looked after which is something I haven’t experienced elsewhere – that is enough of a gift for me so to win this on top is really great.”
The AA five-star Draper’s Hall is in a Draper’s Guildhall dating back to 1576 and partner Sharon Huxley said she is looking forward to welcoming Julie.
Sharon said: “We thought it was a good thing two local businesses working together and putting something back. Julie is planning to come along to the restaurant with three friends and we look forward to welcoming them.”
