Telford Enterprise Week to boost local businesses
A week dedicated to encouraging people to start their own businesses and people with established businesses looking to grow and develop is to be held in Telford and Wrekin starting today.

Telford Enterprise Week will run in parallel with Global Enterprise Week and will bring together a series of entrepreneurial events.
It aims to promote the wealth of support available and encourage people who are not yet entrepreneurs to think about starting their own business, improve skills for aspiring entrepreneurs and start ups and help people and businesses to access practical support.
Events include:
· Yes You Can: A partnership event on November 13 between Shropshire Enterprise Partnership and Telford & Wrekin Council which will feature an Enterprise Market Place, a business support exhibition, free one to one business advisor sessions delivered by Growing Enterprise and business development workshops, key note speaker will be Brad Burton founder of 4N Networking Group.
· Start Up Day on November 14 at the Telford Enterprise Hub, dedicated to providing all the support needed to start up a business
· Growth Accelerator breakfast event running on Wednesday 14 November at Grays Hotel. Further details and how to register for this event can be found by visiting www.investintelford.co.uk

Councillor Charles Smith, cabinet member for Housing, Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “We are determined to make it as easy as possible for people to start up new businesses and give them as much support as we possibly can when they have.
“Telford Enterprise Week will demonstrate exactly what support is available and how people can access it and I would encourage anyone thinking of starting up a new business to look into how we can help.”
