Two young professionals who started their legal careers with a Shropshire firm have recently qualified as solicitors.

Shropshire trainees qualify as lawyers

Matthew Bebb (28) and Sian Beckett (26), were both taken on as trainees with Wace Morgan Solicitors, which has offices in Shrewsbury and Newtown.

They are now qualified solicitors, with Matthew working in the employment department and Sian being a member of Wace Morgan’s private client team.

Schooled at Llanidloes High School, Matthew then studied at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, gaining an honours degree in law before passing the Legal Practice Course.
He now lives in north Shropshire and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Sian grew up in the Ceiriog Valley and was educated at Ysgol Dinas Bran in Llangollen before attending Keele University where she gained an honours degree in law with history, later achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, Chester.

Sian sits on the board of directors for Relate Shropshire and Herefordshire and is also an active member of the Shrewsbury Young Professionals Group and Shropshire Junior Lawyers Division.

Wace Morgan managing partner Diana Packwood commented: “It is always satisfying for us to see our own young trainees come through the ranks and become valued members of our team - we wish both Matthew and Sian well in their future careers.”
