Shropshire law firm Linder Myers has appointed a medical negligence solicitor boosting its range of services as it continues to expand the business in the region.

Linder Myers appoints medical negligence specialist

Claire Tellis-Doherty joins the team from Lanyon Bowdler bringing specialist experience in a range of claim types including GP and hospital negligence, clinical misdiagnosis, brain and spinal injuries and complex birth injury cases.

Living in Shropshire and a mother of three, Claire commented on her new appointment: “I find the law incredibly exciting and especially the challenges of medical negligence, an area that involves building a strong relationship with your client and their relatives, at what sadly can be the worst time of their lives. I’m very pleased to have joined Linder Myers as I recognise it as a firm with a highly respected local reputation, totally dedicated to delivering a professional and friendly service where client care and satisfaction are of utmost importance.

“I’m working with some of the best medical negligence lawyers in England and Wales as Linder Myers has one of the largest and most successful departments in the country and as a firm has great ambitions.”

Richard Ashton, trusts & estates and regional managing partner at Linder Myers in Shropshire said: “Claire’s appointment further boosts our local offer and she joins a very well established team at Linder Myers firmwide. Sadly, medical negligence claims are becoming more common and we continue to strive to meet the needs of our local clients to ensure that we can advise them on any area of the law that they may require.”
