Design firm first to join Shropshire Chamber’s enhanced membership scheme
A leading local graphic design company has become the first firm to sign up to a new enhanced membership initiative introduced by the training arm of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.

Knockin-based Hunter Bevan has become the first business in the county to take advantage of Shropshire Chamber Business Academy’s new Executive Membership package. In addition to the broad range of benefits already on offer to Chamber Members, Executive Membership gives the firm access to a whole host of added-value services, including a complimentary place on all of the Shropshire Chamber Business Academy’s upcoming one-day training courses, with discounts available for additional delegates.
The scheme also provides access to tailored and exclusive networking opportunities, along with the opportunity for Executive Members to showcase their business with an online profile on the Shropshire Chamber Business Academy website and advertising space at its Brassey Road site in Shrewsbury.
Neil Bevan, of Hunter Bevan, commented: “As well us giving us the opportunity to invest in our team’s training and continuing development through the wide range of courses available, from practical day-to-day skills to recognised CPD courses, the added benefits of access to MINT UK Business Intelligence, and the PR and profile-raising opportunities open to Executive Members offers too good a range of benefits to miss. We’re proud to be making a commitment to our employees and to the Chamber through this initiative.”
Chris Jones, Communications and Relationships Manager for Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted that Hunter Bevan has decided to join the Executive Membership programme, it shows that as a business, that they value the training and continuous development of their employees.
“Shropshire Chamber Business Academy will deliver in excess of 60 training courses throughout 2013, all of which can help benefit businesses and individuals within those companies. The support of companies like Hunter Bevan is a testament to the strong business community that we have in Shropshire, and we are always keen to work with companies that share our values in producing a stronger and more skilled local economy.
“Any business in the county interested in finding out more about the additional benefits on offer through Shropshire Chamber Business Academy Executive Membership should get in touch on either 01952 208200 or email enquiries@shropshire-chamber.co.uk,” Chris concluded.
