A local security provider is firmly on the road to success after welcoming the newest addition to its fleet of vehicles.

Shrewsbury security firm has a top driving force

Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton-based Taybar Ltd has continued its long-term partnership with Shrewsbury-based car dealership Furrows following the addition of a Kia Rio 1.1 diesel, one of the most eco-friendly cars on the market, to its fleet. The car which is white and fully branded with the Taybar livery is one of five vehicles the firm has added over the past couple of years.

Managing Director of Taybar Ltd, Steve Taylor, said: “Due to the nature of the security industry, which regularly requires members of our team to travel to site patrols, or respond to domestic and commercial property alarms means driving around is a hugely important aspect of the service we provide.

“We have a great relationship with Furrows, who have provided us with vehicles for the past few years, and in turn, we supply them with a dedicated security service. The most recent addition is not only extremely reliable and economical, it releases fewer emissions, which means it is friendlier to the environment, and certainly reduces our carbon footprint.”

The new vehicle addition follows on from a string of recent successes for the firm, including expanding to larger dedicated premises in the Rural Enterprise Centre, Shrewsbury. The business has also obtained ISO9001 certification, an accolade that represents excellent quality management across the company, as well as welcoming a new apprentice, Chloe Humphries, to its team as an Office Administrator.

“It’s been a very successful past few months for us, and we’re sure our new car will help us drive forward our business in
the coming months,” Steve concluded.
